And it’s blue
As a kid I was told the sky is blue because it reflects the colour of the sea. This made be believe that I get to see the colour of the ocean all the time! It was many years later before I realised that the sky is blue purely because blue light have the shortest wavelength and hence they scatter more easily as light passes through our atmosphere. This was interesting as it made me realise that there is more to nature I could ever imagine. Small little molecular changes affects the colour of the sky that billions of people see from all around the world. I find solace in knowing that the colour of the sky at this location, at this moment in time, will never be replicated.
